Your Team's Impact
FactSet’s Enterprise Data Sales deploys a leading content platform connecting FactSet and third-party data, delivered via APIs, cloud, widgets, and files to suit diverse client workflows. By supporting various databases, programming languages, and visualization tools, we enable clients to focus on their business priorities. The team manages over $320M in Annual Subscription Value (ASV), sustaining double-digit growth by offering solutions in application development, pricing/reference data, trading/real-time, DaaS, quant research feeds, and GenAI technologies.
What You'll Do
We seek a Enterprise Data Sales Specialist to strengthen FactSet’s presence in Japan by nurturing key client relationships, consulting on data and technology solutions, and expanding product usage. Responsibilities include prospecting, lead generation, increasing net ASV, servicing clients, and coordinating regional sales. The Specialist will cultivate a strong opportunity pipeline with asset managers, banks, fintechs, and hedge funds; drive C-level engagement; educate teams on product best practices; relay feedback for product improvement; and manage trials and sales projects—all to maximize client satisfaction and FactSet’s regional footprint.
In addition, the Specialist will be expected to:
Build and manage a solid pipeline across key client types (Regional AMs, Regional IBs, Fintech, Quant, HFs)Increase client awareness about FactSet’s data solutions and establish/maintain C-level relationships within the client baseEducate and collaborate with sales and consulting about our products and best practicesProvide feedback to Product Development to enhance and improve our productsDevelop expert product and market knowledgeExpand FactSet’s solution footprint by identifying opportunities and managing the sales processCoordinate trials and manage projectsWhat We are Looking For
The Enterprise Data Solutions target client personnas include : Chief Data Officers & Data Management, Chief Technology/Operations Officers, Quant & Research, Data Science, Performance, Compliance, Trading and Fintech. An important part of the sales process is to discuss with clients the most appropriate way to deliver the data. Therefore, the ideal candidate must be able to communicate effectively with all the above user groups on technical as well as data issues. We look for:
Native Japanese speaker and business-level English.5 – 10 years relevant industry experience in a client facing role and proven success in a sales role.Subject matter expertise in data solutions and financial practitioner workflowsDemonstrate an understanding in core industry trends and strategic initiatives being adopted by our clients - cloud, APIs, DaaS, GenAI etc.Display consistent willingness to educate sales teams on scalable off platform sales strategies.Experience working with sql, python or other coding languages a plus.Proven ability to identify and monetize opportunities within clientsEnthusiasm, desire and a strong sense of initiativeStrong communication skills, interpersonal skills and teamworkStrong analytical skills and capable of thinking creatively and strategicallyWhat's In It For You
