Enterprise Account Manager
Job Title: Logistics Specialist
Job Description

Join an exciting new team within a rapidly growing area as a Logistics Specialist, where you will manage daily freight movements in and out of North American fulfillment centers and the associated fulfillment network.

ResponsibilitiesMaintain continual, tactical communication and account management with external customers including carriers and vendors.Extract and analyze data from various databases using tools like Excel, Access, and SQL to perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.Review data and reports related to appointment and arrival times, and make business decisions and process improvements based on the reported data.Create a narrative outlining weekly findings and variances to goals, and present these in a review forum.Work within time constraints to meet critical business needs while measuring and identifying performed activities.Lead initiatives to re-engineer business processes and identify and eliminate root causes of defects for efficiency in transportation operations.Systematically escalate problems or variances in information and data to relevant owners and teams, ensuring resolutions are delivered.Develop performance metrics to assist in driving business results.Scope out business and functional requirements for tech teams who create and enhance software systems and tools.Quickly understand the business impact of trends and make data-driven decisions.Essential SkillsAbility to analyze data and recognize trends.Experience in transportation, freight, and third-party logistics.Vendor management skills.Proficiency in Excel and other data management systems.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in logistics or transportation is preferred.Intermediate level MS Office experience, particularly Excel.Bachelor's degree is a plus.Experience in manufacturing, transportation, customer service, and/or distribution environments.Experience in data management and data quality control, with the ability to pull and analyze large sets of data.Demonstrated experience using data to drive root cause elimination and process improvement.Work Environment

The role requires working in-office full-time, five days a week. It involves morning team meetings, tracking overnight loads, communicating with customers, scheduling shipments, and handling escalations. The interaction level with the team varies, with potential weekly syncs and daily chime groups for day-to-day escalations.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
