**Position Title:** Enrollment Specialist **Pay:** $18/hr **Temp position** **Location:** San Antonio, TX 78224 – South Side **Job Summary:** The Enrollment Specialist is responsible for developing programs and processes that provide services to students and/or other internal college or district customers. This role plays a key part in supporting student access, enrollment, and success by delivering high-quality service and program support. **Essential Job Functions:** + Provide noncredit instruction in the assigned area to high school students, grades 9–12. + Evaluate students on a pass/fail basis at the end of both the academic component and the summer program. + Prepare lesson plans for Saturday sessions and summer programs. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Minimum Education and Experience:** + Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or a combination of relevant experience, education, and training that equates to the required degree. + One year of teaching experience. **Licenses and Certifications:** + Texas Teacher Certification in the assigned academic area is required. **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** + Familiarity with major trends, requirements, and instructional techniques/theories relevant to the field. + Skill in using personal computers and associated software programs. + Ability to work independently, follow established procedures and regulations, and exercise discretion and sound judgment. + Ability to communicate and work effectively and tactfully with students, staff, and other stakeholders.
