Engineers and scientists at JFWTC have contributed to hundreds of aviation patents, pioneering breakthroughs in engine technologies, advanced materials, and additive manufacturing.

In the GE Aerospace Engineering Internship, you will: 

Work on 1-2 engineering projects over 6-9 months in a discipline aligned to your expertiseGrow your technical expertise in your chosen field and expand your skills in new areas Collaborate with diverse teams to develop innovative technologies for GE AerospaceReceive technical insights, mentorship, and coaching from world-class technologistsShare project progress internally and externally through presentations, written reports, and IP disclosure

Ideal Candidate:

Should be pursuing the M.tech course.

Required Qualifications:

Pursuing Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace EngineeringStrong fundamentals, domain knowledge and analytical skillsExecution mindset, self-driven with a sense of urgencyExcellent interpersonal and communication skills in a global team environment

Desired Qualifications:

Shown expertise in the fields of structural mechanics, FEM, Mechanical DesignProficiency in simulation software (e.g. ANSYS, NX, HYPERMESH)Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learnTransparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructivelyFocused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committedLeadership ability: strong communicator, decision-maker, collaborativProblem solver: analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinker.
