Northrop Grumman Space Systems Sector is looking for a Engineering Technician - Level 3 to join the Mechanical Engineering team within Launch Vehicles at the Chandler, AZ facility.

Essential Functions:

Processing of engineering analysis and drawings, tracking hardware procurement, and assistance of integration of hardware.Assisting with procurement processExpense processingTask scheduling/processingAdditional duties assigned as needed

Basic Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experienceAbility to obtain a US DoD Secret security clearanceExperience working with Microsoft productivity software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)Ability to multi-task and process information from multiple sourcesResponsive and motivated in task completionAbility to track schedule and budget of assignments

Preferred Qualifications:

Active US DoD Secret Security clearance, or higher at the time of applicationExposure to or familiarity with Lean Engineering environment (Scrum, Agile, Jira, etc)Past experience in engineering industryFamiliarity with PLM software (Teamcenter)Exposure to engineering analysis and drawings in past experienceHands-on experience with hardwareExperience managing schedules (MS Project)Tracking hardware, working with procurement and vendorsGood verbal and written communication skillsExpertise in Microsoft Excel (back-end programming, database processing, pivot tables, etc.)

Primary Level Salary Range: $57,500.00 - $95,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
