Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Systems sector is currently looking for an Engineering Technician to work in our Rancho Bernardo (near San Diego, CA) location.
Role description & Responsibilities:
Support Radar Cross Section (RCS) and Radio Frequency (RF) testing of test articles and antennasMount and dismount test articles on a test support pylonWill be expected to work in man lift at height of 65 feetTroubleshoot, maintain, repair and/or fabricate test equipment (production and prototype)Assist in the verification, development and documentation of test procedures and special applications by interpreting product specificationsWill work multiple shiftsThis role may be filled as an Engineering Technician 2 or Engineering Technician 3 based on the qualifications outlined below.
Basic Qualifications:
Engineering Technician 2
High School Diploma or Equivalent (education will be verified)At least 2 years of experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry, or related military serviceActive DoD Secret Security Clearance (or higher) last investigated within 6 years or enrolled in continuous evaluationActive Special Access Program (SAP)Ability to use standard tools and shop equipmentBasic troubleshooting skillsBasic computer skills and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)Engineering Technician 3
High School Diploma or Equivalent (education will be verified)At least 4 years of experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry, or related military serviceActive DoD Secret Security Clearance (or higher) last investigated within 6 years or enrolled in continuous evaluationActive Special Access Program (SAP)Ability to use standard tools and shop equipmentBasic troubleshooting skillsBasic computer skills and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)Preferred Qualifications:

Engineering Technician 2 Pay Range: $26.15 - $43.56 per hour
Engineering Technician 3 Pay Range: $31.06 - $51.73 per hour
Primary Level Salary Range: $54,400.00 - $90,600.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $64,600.00 - $107,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
