**Description** SAIC is seeking an Engineering Technician III for our Bedford, IN location. The ideal candidate must have mechanical aptitude and a basic understanding of electrical connectivity, with the ability to follow written instruction and schematic layout. **Job Duties** (may include, but are not limited to): + Assist Production Lead and CM with daily tasking as directed. + Provide facilities escort for non-employee visitors to the facility. + Able to keep Configuration Management of the tasking, files and correspondences as required to complete the task in a quick and orderly fashion. + Perform written documentation for a variety of moderate tasks and have the ability to learn and apply simple to moderate assimilation of an end item. + Kitting parts and cable assemblies per written instruction, integration of parts, cables, assemblies, and sensitive equipment, interaction with other facets of project development and support, such as: Leads, Government Customer, Procurement, Drafting support, Engineering support, Inventory support. This person would be able to quickly complete tasking independently and as a team member, with detailed or general instruction. Candidate must be detailed oriented and have the ability to read and comprehend and follow written work cards, drawings, and verbal instruction. **Qualifications** **Required Education Experience:** + High School Diploma and two (2) or more years of experience. + Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance; not needed to start. + Must be a U.S. citizen. + Ability to comprehend and follow specific work instruction. + Intermediate skill set using MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams. + Must be detail oriented and able to communicate ideas in a production floor environment. + Effective verbal and written skills, with ability to convey in proper sentence structure.
