Join a dynamic team in the exciting field of battery cell assembly. Your primary responsibility will be to prepare battery cell components such as electrodes, separators, and pouch cases through cutting, welding, and drying processes. You will also fabricate various prototype battery cell configurations and document the process using travelers and SOP documents, inputting data into the database system.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare and fabricate battery cell components and prototype configurations.Document cell component preparations and prototype cell assembly using travelers and SOP documents.Assist with the operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment, including the procurement of cell components.Communicate work progress and report technical results to supervisors or managers.Collaborate with team members and support cross-functional teams with excellent communication skills.Essential Skills1+ years of experience in a hands-on technical position in an R&D laboratory environment.Proficiency in MS Windows and Office software.Experience in documenting travelers, test results, and SOP using MS Office programs.Ability to work in a moisture-controlled dry room environment.Excellent communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.Capability to comprehend directions and execute technical experiments with minimal supervision.Additional Skills & QualificationsIndustry experience in R&D is a strong plus.Battery experience is ideal but not mandatory.Experience in battery startups or similar environments is relevant.Dry room experience is a plus, but a willingness to learn is acceptable.Work experience related to battery cell component processes and prototype lithium-ion cell fabrication is advantageous.Work EnvironmentYou will work in a dry room environment where maintaining moisture control is essential. The position involves using laboratory equipment and may require wearing specialized attire to ensure safety and compliance.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
