Job Description
This position is for a Lab Technician who will support the launch and operation of a new IoT lab dedicated to testing software and conducting software integration. The role involves testing smart grills and connected portable devices, setting up tests, running them, collecting, and analyzing data. You will also collaborate with the R&D software QA team when bugs arise and eventually train incoming workers in the IoT lab.
Responsibilities
+ Test smart grills and connected portable devices.
+ Set up and run tests, collect, and analyze data.
+ Collaborate with the R&D software QA team to address and resolve bugs.
+ Train new workers in the IoT lab.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in testing validation and troubleshooting.
+ Proficiency in Excel.
+ Ability to work in a lab setting, including performing tests, collecting data, and documenting results.
+ Desire to work with electronics and software.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Associate's Degree preferred.
+ Experience with electronics and IoT.
+ Familiarity with Instabug, Jira, and TestRail.
Work Environment
This position is on-site from Monday to Friday with flexible hours. Overtime is available if necessary. The lab environment currently consists of three people in the regular QA lab, and you will be the first in the IoT lab.

This is a Contract position based out of Hampshire, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $29.00/hr.
