Job Title: Engineering Technician IJob Description

The Engineering Technician I is responsible for performing detailing activities on assigned projects while adhering to schedule and accuracy requirements. The role involves working closely with project teams to ensure the successful execution of engineering designs.

ResponsibilitiesDetail building parts and create fabrication drawings from engineering design and project notes.Create erection drawings, approval drawings, permit drawings, and anchor rod drawings.Develop basic product and procedure knowledge and improve technical expertise.Upload and edit parts into the manufacturing system and release them to manufacturing.Collaborate with project teams to discuss challenges and develop cost-effective, efficient solutions.Ensure customer service needs are met by adhering to schedules.Focus on achieving departmental objectives, profitability goals, and continuous improvement as part of a high-performance work environment.Essential SkillsAssociate or 2-year technical degree in drafting or 2 additional years of relevant experience in steel detailing.Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.1 year of experience using AutoCAD.Experience with the design of steel products.Proficiency in Algebra and Trigonometry.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with CAD design and drafting.Knowledge of metal buildings and SolidWorks.Familiarity with 2D drafting.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.88 - $27.88/hr.
