Our Power Delivery team is currently seeking an Engineering Student looking to gain exposure to a unique and dynamic organization. Specific assignments and tasks will be dependent upon the candidate’s field of study and relevant experience. Assignments will fall within the domains of electrical, civil, structural, and environmental engineering as they pertain to a variety of engineering projects that Stantec is currently engaged in across Canada. Your Key Responsibilities - Assisting power distribution design team with day-to-day tasks and projects including coordination of drawings and details. - Taking part in design calculations and plans, ensuring compliance with standards, guidelines, code requirements, and other applicable regulations. - Assisting the project management team with development of dashboards and Power BI reports. - Tracking project actions and milestones and participating in documentation control. - General duties, requests, and special projects as directed. Your Capabilities and Credentials - Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. - Superior time-management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. - Effective written and verbal communication skills. - Strong interest in developing new skills and career advancement. - Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, MS Project, Word, Excel and Power BI would be an asset. Education and Experience - Presently enrolled in a Bachelor of Engineering program. - Preference is for student availability of an 8-month term minimum, with preference for longer terms.
