Engineering Project Coordinator
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Technical Order Processing Specialist to join our team. This role involves reviewing orders for accuracy, ensuring they align with quotes, and coordinating with engineering and design teams to create manufacturing packets. The position offers an exciting opportunity for career growth into an Engineering Production Coordinator role.
Responsibilities
Review orders for accuracy and ensure alignment with quotes and manufacturing drawings and schematics.Act as a gatekeeper to determine when engineering input is needed.Create and release manufacturing packets to the production floor.Enter data into the ERP system for supply chain coordination.Work on custom orders, assembling drawings, and managing complex project orders.Communicate with vendors or potential vendors to source parts as needed.Work cross-functionally with designers and engineers to ensure smooth operations.Essential Skills
Proficiency in reading blueprints and manufacturing drawings.Experience with electrical schematics and ERP systems.1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with a bill of materials and routing in ERP systems.Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to contribute to process improvements.Work Environment
This role involves working both on the manufacturing floor and in an office cubicle, collaborating with a team of approximately 45 people. The company is transitioning from paper-based processes to a cloud-based format, offering a dynamic and evolving work environment.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, MO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
