Medtronic’s Neuromodulation/Pelvic Health organization is hiring a Engineering Program Manager to join their onsite team in Fridley, Minnesota. Pelvic Health (PH) therapies treat patients suffering from overactive bladder, non-obstructive urinary retention, and fecal incontinence with our sacral neuromodulation (SNM) systems InterStim X™ and InterStim™ Micro; and our percutaneous tibial neuromodulation (PTNM) system NURO™. Our goal is to expand access to our therapies, so we can help potentially millions of people get their lives back.​ NPI (New Product Introduction) Program Manager / Core Team Operations Representative (CTOR) is the primary Operations interface to the NPI Core team. This is a highly visible and impactful role in the operations network and to the Neuromodulation and Pelvic Health business unit of Medtronic’s Neurosciences Operating Unit. The CTOR will lead cross-functional extended teams and is responsible for value stream selection, planning, execution, and implementation of new products into manufacture. In this exciting role as the Engineering Program Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operations aspects including value stream selection, planning, execution, and successful implementation of activities in the development and introduction of new products. You will ensure that the voice of operations is properly captured, and all team commitments and project contract metrics are met and communicated in a timely manner. **Ability to travel up to** : 25% (domestic or international) **Location** : Fridley, Rice Creek, Minnesota **Onsite:** At Medtronic, we bring bold ideas forward with speed and decisiveness to put patients first in everything we do. We’re working onsite 4 days a week to drive performance, foster an environment of belonging, and collaborate to inspire as we engineer the extraordinary.  Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: + Lead through influence in a matrixed, cross-cultural organization. + Lead all manufacturing and supply chain schedule risk burn down. + Lead Extended Operations Teams to ensure on-time and on-budget performance through the new product development cycle. + Defining and Managing Operations Project metrics and Motivating teams to achieve: + Predicted product costs, line yields, installed capacity, process and component capability, risk burndown. + Generating Design Transfer Deliverables (Plans and Reports) + Working with Stakeholders to set Manufacturing Strategies including: + Manufacturing Site Selection + Distribution Strategies + Contract Manufacturing Statement of work + Capacity Analysis + Capital + Manufacturing Process Validation Planning/Strategy + Equipment Supplier Selection + Pilot Lines/scale up requirements (as needed by program) + Establishing operations development plans (budget, schedule, interdependencies with other Core Team and extended operations functions) + Ensure the quality policy/system is planned, understood, implemented, and maintained. + Ensure operations aspects of Quality System Compliance, Design History File, and Regulatory submissions are properly documented. + Coordinate development builds across value streams. + Lead decision making for facility locations, make-buy decisions, business continuity. + Ensure Design for Reliability and Manufacturing (DRM) is consistently and rigorously applied + Facilitate launch build planning, capacity planning and execution and Commercialization Readiness activities. + Provide tactical and / or operational leadership and coaching to operations team and extended operations team. + Provide indirect people management and development. COMMUNICATIONS & INFLUENCE RESPONSIBILITIES + Serve as the “Voice of Operations” within the Product Development Team + Active and effective listener + Ability to lead and Influence between Extended Operations Team and Core Team + Effective written and spoken communicator + Coach and develop extended Operations members, to help individuals advance their skills and careers.
