This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. **What you’ll do:** **Core Technical & Strategic Responsibilities:** **Maintenance Strategy & Planning** : Develop, manage, and optimize long‑range preventive and corrective maintenance plans covering all mechanical, electrical, facility controls, and asset management systems. **Technical Leadership Across Multiple Sites** : Oversee engineering operations across seven locations, ensuring consistent standards, reliability, and operational performance. **taff Development & Management** : Lead, train, and mentor a team of 11 engineers/technicians; set schedules, assign work, and conduct performance management to build technical depth and cross‑functional capability. **Operational Oversight** : Direct day‑to‑day mechanical, electrical, and building systems operations; provide support for troubleshooting and resolving moderately complex technical issues. **Contractor & Vendor Management** : Manage contractors, subcontractors, and third‑party performing maintenance and technical services. **Systems & Standards Governance** : Oversee facility controls systems and asset management platforms; integrate client engineering and maintenance standards into all site operations. **Budgeting & Cost Management** : Support annual budget planning; evaluate and forecast O&M costs and ensure cost‑efficient execution of maintenance plans. **Performance Analytics & Continuous Improvement** : Monitor engineering KPIs, drive efficiency initiatives, and conduct site assessments, peer reviews, and technical competency evaluations. **Client Integration & Change Management** : Partner with clients on reconfigurations, operational changes, and lifecycle asset planning. + Provide formal supervision to 9 employees across 8 different locations. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees. + Coordinate and lead the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed. + Site-wide HVAC- All AHUs, Heating Hot water, FCUs, Steam, Dehumidifiers, Glycol FCU, Glycol chillers, pumps, PRVs. + CBRE’s scope of support for operations and maintenance of the Concord site electrical system includes the 15kV distribution switchgear, low voltage unit substations and associated breakers, transformers, switchgear, etc. + Assist team with operations and maintenance issues. + Direct contractors, subcontractors, and engineers on the entire maintenance aspect. + Supervise and lead the daily operations of facility controls and asset management systems. + Support preparation of annual operating budgets. Evaluate, forecast, and manage operations and maintenance costs. + Schedule maintenance activities aligning with customer operational requirements. + Drive continuous improvement and innovation. Support the undertaking of peer reviews, site assessments, and technical competence evaluations. + Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. The minimum salary for the Engineering Ops Manager position is $125,000 annuallyand the maximum salary for the Engineering Ops Manager position is $135,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
