We are seeking an **Engineering Manager** to ensure the efficient operation, maintenance, and presentation of the hotel in line with Hyatt International’s standards. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, you will support daily operations, lead the experienced engineering team, and work closely with hotel leadership to exceed guest and owner expectations. Technicians or supervisors with ambition for career progression and a passion for both hands-on tasks and administrative duties will be strongly considered. **Key Responsibilities** + Lead, supervise and develop the engineering team, ensuring high performance and engagement. + Manage and support daily preventive maintenance and shift operation, including daily task allocation and response to maintenance requests + Ability to respond to urgent operational needs outside regular hours, including weekends + Perform and oversee hands-on maintenance duties across the property to maintain luxury standards + Maintain seamless operation of hotels systems, plant, equipment, and facilities with attention to details + Attend daily operational and hotel leadership meetings to support cross-departmental coordination. + Oversee minor projects and contribute to specialised engineering initiatives with minimal guest impact. + Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and brand standards in all engineering activities. + Foster clear communication with staff, senior leadership, and external partners. **Qualifications:** **Qualifications** + Experience in hotel engineering, facilities management, or similar environment. + Strong leadership, team management and communication skills. + Hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving and prioritisation abilities. + Relevant engineering, facilities or trade qualification. + Familiar with engineering admin works, operation system + Good understanding on building remedial works + Good understanding on hotel M&E, Hydraulic and HVAC system + Unrestricted working rights in Australia. **This is your chance to work with exclusive clientele at a luxury hotel like no other.
