I am looking for a problem solver, an enthusiastic go-getter with high intensity and focused determination. We need someone who is at the point in their career where they are ready for the opportunity to build a place for themself and grow with it. This person needs to have a degree in Engineering. A PE license is not required but would be beneficial. We are looking for someone with at least 10 years of experience.This person needs experience in a manufacturing environment. Oilfield or heavy equipment experience preferred. Bonus points for someone who grew up on a farm.They need to be a SolidWorks power user. This person must be able to direct the department and function as the lead design engineer at the same time. Long term, I need someone who can take on the day-to-day role of running the engineering department so that I can focus on R&D and business development opportunities. The contract that we just secured will have us extremely busy for the next year.I need to fill this position ASAP.Responsibilities include, but not limited to:•\tDirecting the day-to-day activities of the departmento\tTask listso\tProject schedulingo\tDesign reviewso\tGeneral management of how the department functions.o\tDeveloping standards for project completion.o\tOverseeing engineering aspects of ongoing projects.o\tPerforming Yearly Employee performance reviews•\tFunction as lead Design Engineero\tWork on new development projects utilizing Solidworks and Ansyso\tPerform Hand Calcso\tAssist VP of Engineering with special projects and patent work.o\tManage the ongoing Sustaining Engineering for the company.\tECNs\tNCRs\tDevelop general manufacturing and production improvements for current products.\tLiaison with the Production and Purchasing departments to solve manufacturing issues.•\tManufacturing Engineeringo\tCRW is currently transitioning to a new MRP system that will require engineering input to develop job operations and procedures for all of our manufactured components.o\tHelp with manufacturing decisions in general.\tWeld procedures\tMachining order of operations\tMaterial selections\tHeat treatmentsCRW is a premier manufacturer of custom equipment for the global oilfield industry. We are currently solely based out of our FT. Worth, Texas location, but have overseas expansion planned for 2026.Our equipment offering includes:•\tHydraulic Work Over•\tSnubbing•\tPumping•\tCoiled Tubing•\tChem Add•\tNitrogen•\tRebuild and refurbishment of Oilfield service equipment.

This is a Contract position based out of Fort Worth, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $57.00/hr.
