The purpose of this internship is to investigate and optimize the thermal management of busbars used in electric vehicle (EV) systems, particularly in applications where one side of the busbar is exposed to significant heat due to components such as contactors or fuses, while the other side is actively cooled. These components have strict maximum operating temperature limits that must not be exceeded to ensure system reliability and safety. This research will focus on how the integration of heatsinks can contribute to improved thermal performance. The study will combine theoretical analysis with the design and execution of thermal experiments.
