Engineering Associate - .NET
**About this role:** Wells Fargo is seeking an Engineering Associate – .NET Full Stack Developer to join the Consumer Technology group. This role focuses on building and modernizing applications that power key business processes across the Home Lending Tech marketing and Sales enterprise. You will contribute to the design, development, modernization, and maintenance of internal applications using the .NET framework, Microsoft SQL Server, and cloud‑native technologies. This position is part of the Career Opportunities in Development and Engineering (CODE) Program, a two-year direct-hire initiative designed to help individuals from diverse educational and professional backgrounds launch careers in technology. Whether you're a recent graduate, a coding bootcamp alum, or someone with hands-on technical experience, CODE offers a structured pathway into the tech industry—no four-year degree required. As a full-time employee in the CODE Program, you'll begin with immersive onboarding and continue with hands-on training, mentorship, and professional development. If you're a curious problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys learning new technologies, and is passionate about building a career in tech, the CODE Program could be a great fit.  Wells Fargo only considers candidates who are presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who do not require work visa sponsorship from Wells Fargo now or in the future in order to retain their authorization to work in the United States. **In this role, you will:** + Design, develop, test, and maintain full‑stack .NET applications, including C# development and front‑end components (Blazor experience preferred). + Build and optimize database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server, including T‑SQL development, complex stored procedures, and debugging SQL performance issues. + Develop and maintain SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) data integration packages. + Implement automated unit testing using xUnit (bUnit experience preferred for Blazor components). + Support automation testing using Selenium‑based frameworks, including Playwright or Karate. + Contribute to deploying and running applications in cloud environments such as Azure and container platforms like OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) (experience with GCP or AWS also acceptable). + Work with scheduling and file‑transfer tools including AutoSys and Connect:Direct (NDM). + Participate in code reviews, requirement refinement, debugging, and performance optimization to ensure high‑quality application delivery. + Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an agile environment and contribute to continuous improvement across development processes. **Required Qualifications:** + 6+ months of Technology Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education **Desired Qualifications:** + 6+ months of hands‑on experience with .NET, C#, and full‑stack development practices. + Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including stored procedures, T‑SQL, and troubleshooting complex queries. + Exposure to SSIS,XUnit, Blazor, automation testing frameworks (Playwright, Karate, Selenium), and cloud technologies (Azure, OCP, GCP, AWS). + Experience with version control systems such as GitHub. + Demonstrated ability to work in agile environments, write maintainable code, and collaborate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders. + Proficiencywith Microsoft Office tools and communication across distributed teams. ​ **Job Expectations:** + The selected candidate for this Engineering Associate role must be able to begin employment by March 18, 2026, in a full‑time capacity.
