Job Title: Engineering Administrative AssistantJob Description

The Engineering Administrative Assistant provides critical administrative and technical support to the engineering team. This role combines strong organizational and administrative skills with proficiency in AutoCAD to assist with document preparation, drawing updates, and coordination of engineering projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced technical environment.

ResponsibilitiesProvide administrative and technical support to the engineering team.Prepare and update documents and drawings using AutoCAD.Coordinate engineering projects efficiently and effectively.Perform data entry tasks and maintain inventory records.Assist with project coordination and ensure timely completion of tasks.Read and understand basic engineering drawings and terminology.Essential SkillsProficiency in AutoCAD (2D required).Previous experience in an administrative or office support role, preferably in an engineering or technical environment.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.Experience in the manufacturing industry.Familiarity with 'red line' processes and project coordination systems.Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and technical, requiring the candidate to be comfortable with using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office tools. The role involves handling multiple projects simultaneously, thus requiring excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Maumee, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
