Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history. _Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for you to join our team as a_ **_Test Engineer_** _based out of_ **_Buffalo, NY_** _._ _We are looking for a self-starter who can work with minimal direction, has strong oral and written communication, a strong sense of accountability and interpersonal skills, and who is able to successfully collaborate across organizations and functions to meet common objectives._ _The Manufacturing organization located in Buffalo, NY, tests a variety of electronic components and systems used in the development, test, validation, and training of Electronic Warfare hardware, software, and personnel to ensure the safety and success of the warfighter._ **_What You’ll get to Do:_** + _The Test Engineer designs, develops, and implements testing methods and determines equipment capabilities and capacities as required to functionally test Microwave, Radio Frequency, and Digital microelectronics products._ + _Provides project management and technical oversight for test activities, including resources, budgets, and schedules with milestones._ + _Coordinates with a team of test technicians to implement and improve test processes._ + _Works with Systems and Hardware Engineering to support the development of new products._ + _Develops and refines test procedures._ + _Evaluates and monitors manufacturing and test data to identify defect trends, and works with Manufacturing Engineering to resolve any issues._ + _Provides dispositions for non-conforming products and materials and processes the related Quality Notifications to completion._ + _Develop and refine automated test software. Lead Continuous Improvement projects and present them to executive management._ _The ideal candidate will have a solid business acumen; strong technical skills; a demonstrated high level of attention to detail and quality; strong quantitative and analytical skills; strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present concepts and ideas to upper management; demonstrated success in working in a team environment, with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure._ **_Basic Qualifications Test Engineer:_** + _Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other STEM-related technical discipline with 2 years of experience; Master's Degree with 0 years of experience._ + _Experience with Testing methods, procedures, and product quality._ + _Experience with test equipment such as vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, RF signal generators, noise figure meters, oscilloscopes, and digital multimeters._ + _Experience reading and/or interpreting 2D and/or 3D drawings._ + _Experience in prioritizing and adjusting tasks to accomplish the project result._ + _The ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance._ + _U.S. Citizen_ **_Preferred Qualifications Test Engineer_** **_:_** + _Experience with a variety of industry standards (including but not limited to IPC-610, J-STD, 7711/7721, MIL, and ANSI)._ + _Experience in composing process documentation, i.e., test procedures._ + _Experience in data analysis and development of performance metrics._ + _Experience with Spreadsheets and database collection (i.e., Excel; Access)._ + _Programming experience with LabVIEW, Visual Basic, and C++._ + _Experience with mechanical and electrical manufacturing/production processes._ + _Experience with Siemens Team Center._ + _Experience with SAP ERP2._ + _Active DoD Security Clearance._ **_What We Can Offer You:_** _Northrop Grumman provides a comprehensive benefits package and a work environment that encourages your growth and supports the mutual success of our people and our company. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
