Job Title: Engineer Technical Support Specialist
Job Description
This sr-level position supports engineers on technical projects and products by collecting, maintaining, and organizing technical data. Responsibilities include creating, building, assembling, modifying, and repairing prototypes, preparing engineering documentation such as reports, drawings, sketches, flow charts, diagrams, and schematics, and performing mathematical calculations according to engineering specifications. The role involves data analysis, recommending alternative solutions, setting up and conducting tests, and recording data to assist with engineering analysis.
Responsibilities
Administer and generate Joint Use fines.Generate and manage transfer notifications through Alden One.Create and assign SCL WAMS asset numbers for new assets and projects.Intake, process, and manage engineering as-builts.Process and manage ROW permitting applications for several jurisdictions.Intake, approve, and process customer applications.Investigate Alden One and WAMS for pole replacement work orders and transfer statuses related to the Double Pole project.Manage Master Pole Attachment Agreements and maintain Certificates of Insurance for over 150 Wireline customers.Compile and generate billing reports for accounting, who subsequently issues invoices to Joint Use customers.Collaborate with Cost Accounting and P&CM to accurately assign invoices to billable work orders.Issue permits for Joint Use and Wood Pole Design Team, ensuring they are officially authorized and compliant with regulations.Conduct thorough research and take necessary actions to address and resolve customer complaints effectively.Create comprehensive internal and external reports and metrics.Generate reports to identify work orders ready for closure in WAMS.Monitor and address Customer Called completes, with a backlog of 9 months on inspections and overdue customer final close-outs from previous years.Plot, research, and field quarter section maps (ability to work in all weather conditions required).Essential Skills
Client interaction.Proficiency in MS Excel.Experience with testing software.Proficiency in AutoCAD.Understanding of documentation processes.Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years of related experience, or AA degree in related discipline and 2 years of related experience.Work Environment
The position requires a minimum of two days in the office, two days on-site fielding, and one day working remotely. Candidates must be local and capable of traveling around Seattle. The role involves working in all weather conditions.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
