Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a **Hardware Subsystem Integration and Test Engineer** to support the Windjammer program within the Networked Information Solutions (NIS) division based out of **Linthicum, MD** . **Typical Roles and Responsibilities include:** The qualified candidate is a self-starter with general engineering aptitude in multiple disciplines who will join a diverse and talented team of engineers in hardware integration and test at the Subsystems level. Responsibilities may include subsystem analysis including hardware from RF to digits, support for performance testing, and more. **Basic Qualifications:** + Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related discipline with 2 years of experience in the areas described in the job description or 0 years of experience with a Masters Degree. An additional 4 years experience is acceptable in lieu of a degree. + US Citizenship is required + Active DoD Secret Clearance + Exhibit proficiency in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting + Exhibit working knowledge of antenna measurements in near field or compact antenna test ranges, related to antenna range integration, test setup, data collection, data analysis, and system integration + Exhibit working knowledge of RF measurements using test equipment including network analyzers, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes + Exhibit proficiency in software scripting and debugging in MATLAB, Visual Basic, or C++ Effective verbal and written communication skills **Preferred Qualifications:** + Active Special Program Access (SAP) Clearance + Proficient user of both near-field and compact antenna test ranges; proficient user of NSI-MI Technology antenna range test systems + User of MATLAB for post-processing antenna range test data + Ability to develop practical and sometimes novel solutions to a broad variety of RF/Microwave design and test-related problems of increasing complexity under general supervision This role is contingent upon having an Active DoD Secret Clearance. Salary Range: $85,400.00 - $128,000.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
