Northrop Grumman Space Systems Sector, Tactical Space Systems Division, is hiring a qualified Mission Architect Engineer with a focus on Modeling and Simulation. Successful candidates for this position will work in a technical role for space and ground programs in Dulles, VA. This position offers the opportunity to work on exciting, cutting-edge programs and new mission areas in the following areas to support next generation space capabilities.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Ability to capture core concepts and instructional needs from a large amount of technical data (ground and space hardware) and communicate technical concepts to an audience of non-subject matter experts with varying levels of domain experienceBe self-directed and able to envision the end state of the product and take initiative to drive product development to closureWork with tools such as MATLAB, STK, and CameoAssist in system-of-system trades, modeling, simulation and analysis to assess space mission architecture alternatives for delivering a customer mission effect, data or capability as it fits within a broader campaignSupport capture activities, including RFI/RFP preparation, customer presentations and demonstrations, and competitor analysisSupport the following program activities:CONOPS and Mission AnalysisSystems Level Integration and TestMission Modeling and SimulationVerification and ValidationResource Logistics and ExecutionMission Operations SupportModel Based Systems EngineeringThis position will expose the candidate to equal parts technical competency, forward thinking ideas, and execution focus. This position utilizes abilities to interact in an organized and solutions-oriented manner, with external entities who are contributing elements of the integrated ground and space segment.

Basic Qualifications:
B.S. in STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering, Math or related area and 2 years of experience; M.S. in STEM or related area and 0 years of experience.Understanding of Systems Engineering principles and practicesExperience in requirements management, system architecture development, and CONOPS.Must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret and SCI security clearance at time of applicationPreferred Experience:

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
