What You’ll get to Do:
Utilizes Data Analytics to analyze existing operational processes and develops metrics and reporting to optimize and improve program & operational performance.Leads efforts as Digital Transformation Champion to align Apopka goals with sector and enterprise strategies.Creates new metrics and data visualizations to monitor shop floor performance.Analyzes lead times, queue times, work-in-process, cycle times, and throughput to meet customer demand most effectively and efficiently.Builds scalable and sustainable models to optimize product flow, while incorporating cost, schedule, and resource constraints.Develops optimized scheduling tools and aligns SAP/MRP systems with an executable plan given various capacity constraints.Communicates requirements planning and systems framework with IT, ERP, business analytics, and data science teams.Must be available on-site to support manufacturing and its schedule of operations.

Basic Qualifications Industrial Engineer:
Bachelor’s degree with 2 or more years of industrial engineering, manufacturing, or data analysis experience; OR
Master’s degree with 0 or more years of industrial engineering, manufacturing, or data analysis experience.
Experience in designing visualizations in Tableau.
Experience in Microsoft Office excel, including macros, data mining, and pivot tables, or data visualization software applications.
Experience with Visio or equivalent.
Familiarity with Digital Transformation
Familiarity with time studies and capacity modeling.
Familiarity with Process control methods (SPC/control charts).
Familiarity with Process Capability Analysis (Cp, Cpk, Pp, Ppk).
The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) secret clearance.
U.S. citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications Industrial Engineer:
Experience with improving manufacturing workflow using optimization, modeling, or simulation methods.
At least 1 year of demonstrated manufacturing experience.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing Methods.
Experience with Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
Experience with SAP S/4 HANA Cloud ERP system.
Experience working with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.
2 years of demonstrated experience leading project teams.
Experience with SQL, Python, VBA, or other programming languages.
Familiarity with mixed model manufacturing operations.
Familiarity with workstation ergonomics.
Experience with agile methods of project management or development.
