Working as part of a cross functional team, you deliver the RDQ activities required to complete Packaging Design and Packaging Deployment for Innovation/Growth projects and productivity projects across multiple geographies with an emphasis on delivering the desired consumer experience.
How you will contribute
With the support and guidance of a manager, you will organize and execute projects in line with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements, effectively communicating status and risks. You will plan and conduct activities to generate appropriate packaging information, using sampling and supplier management, and pilot plant and factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements. In this role, you will plan and conduct process development activities (e.g. packaging design and specifications, packaging scale up, commissioning etc.) and help with planning and the effective use of resources, including the use of external agencies. You will also create technical reports, which will require your skills in analysis and interpretation of results that will lead to conclusions and recommendations; create and maintain accurate packaging specifications; and create intellectual property to drive our competitive advantage.

What you need to know about this position:
Lead and support packaging development projects from initial concept through to successful industrial execution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Supply Chain, Operations, and Marketing to ensure packaging solutions meet technical, quality, and commercial objectives.
Conduct testing and analysis of packaging materials and prototypes to ensure performance, quality, and compliance with industry standards.
Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and sustainable packaging solutions.
Maintain thorough documentation of development processes, specifications, and project timelines.
Education / Certifications:
1-2 years of proven experience** in packaging development within the food industry *Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. *Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal)** is a must for effective global collaboration. * Demonstrated knowledge of various packaging materials (cartons, flexibles, rigids) and their properties. * Strong understanding of packaging development processes, from conceptualization to full-scale production implementation. * A proactive mindset with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Familiarity with packaging equipment and manufacturing processes is a plus

Availability to travel to the Puebla plant; transportation is available.
