RESUMEN GENERAL (SUMMARY):
Responsible for providing and supervising technical support and service to responsibility areas, the incumbent may also perform the following functions: requisitioning, defining, initiating, specifying, documenting, validating and training. In addition may be responsible to actively participate in the designing, developing, implementing and evaluating optimal, cost-effective projects and technologies. Responsible for preserving the functionality of assets through technology innovation, focusing on results and reinforcing customer satisfaction thru continuous improvement.
TAREAS Y RESPONSABILIDADES (DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES):
1. Define, implement and improve manufacturing, process in terms of process lay out, material flow, line balancing and process capability.
2. Perform process value analysis to prevent waste through the process.
3. Define, implement and enhance the manufacturing monitor system on quality and output performance.
4. Perform process validation on process changes driven by new ideas or improvements.
5. Generate corrective actions as required to eliminate the root cause of quality issues, scrap or equipment downtime.
6. Provide technical training support to the manufacturing operators, maintenance technicians and peers.
7. Actively participate in automation projects development from concept to implementation.
8. Establish a customer - supplier relationship with other manufacturing areas.
9. Supervise maintenance mechanics, technicians, technologist and technical Lead Operators.
10. Coordinate with manufacturing areas preventive maintenance.
11. Coordinate jobs related with the manufacturing areas.
12. Capital project coordination VIP Project Development.
13. Interact and coordinate with the outside contractors on facility projects.
14. Performs routine assignments of related tasks, which are typically a focused portion of larger projects. These tasks provide experience and familiarization with the engineering staff, methods, techniques, theories, corporate and division SOP's, policies and projects.
15. Ability to solve routine design and engineering tasks with some assistance. Able to solve problems with periodic monitoring.
16. Assists in the preparation and participation in technical reviews and responsible for organizing data and preparing appropriate documentation for assigned projects.
17. Promote a zero-harm work place, and assure that required EHS resources are available and that all applicable EHS practices and rules are being followed by supervised employees.
18. Observe data privacy and confidentiality rules at all times.
DEMANDA FISICA (PHYSICAL DEMANDS):
Medium Work: Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demands requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
EDUCACIÓN Y/O EXPERIENCIA (EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE):
Bachelor Degree Engineering (BSSE BSME) or related field and 0-1 years related experience (in house. co-op or acquired outside).
CUALIFICACIONES (QUALIFICATIONS):
