We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer with General Atomics Systems Integration located in Kaysville, Utah. **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Provide Mechanical Engineering services in support of aircraft modifications and system improvements. + Develop aircraft mechanical systems from concept, requirement development, design, and analysis to prototype and qualification testing. + Design and develop complex aircraft systems, system integration laboratory test equipment, and complex ground support equipment using SolidWorks, NX, or CREO CAD software and ANSYS Finite Element Analysis. + Assist in the planning and coordinating of engineering solutions including documentation, reporting, publishing, and making technical and other presentations to ensure viability of the solution(s) in an evolving environment. + Work within an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment, interfacing with IPT leadership, suppliers, and other technical disciplines to independently prepare/status and/or lead the preparation of engineering design solutions to challenging problems. + Support on-site product manufacturing and integration sites. + Plan for future applications of solutions based on new developments in engineering technology. + Perform other duties as assigned or required. + We offer flexible work arrangements, 9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off, diverse learning opportunities, exposure to a wide variety of projects, and a cohesive team environment. + We are looking for self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented people to help us grow our team and become even better at what we do.
