Our client, a leader in the medical device industry, is seeking an Technical Support/Medical Tech Support to join their team. As an Engineer - Degreed II_SJM, you will be part of the Biomedical Support Department supporting clinical and technical services. The ideal candidate will have problem-solving skills, strong verbal and written communication, and excellent time management and multitasking abilities which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Engineer - Degreed II_SJM
**Location:** Plano, TX (Onsite)
**Pay Range: 35/hr -40/hr**
**What's the Job?**
+ Provides technical or clinical information to customers in response to inquiries and reports from the field.
+ Supports Field Clinical Engineering and Sales Representatives in troubleshooting and product evaluations.
+ Documents all contacts using an approved tracking system, including writing Field Contact Reports for complaints per SMF guidelines.
+ Performs product evaluations and testing based on reports from the field.
+ Participates in rotating after-hours on-call shifts to provide clinical and technical support services.
**What's Needed?**
+ 2-3 years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance or technical support.
+ Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, biomedical science, or a related engineering field preferred.
+ Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities with proficiency in diagnostic tools and software.
+ Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics, with knowledge of medical systems, networking protocols, and information security.
+ Experience working with various types of medical equipment, preferably within a hospital or medical center's biomedical engineering department.
