**Job Title:** Engineer Associate (Electrical) **Location:** In-Office 5x a week in New Albany, OH **Pay Range:** $35 per hour **Duration:** 12mo contract to hire **Candidates:** US Citizens or GC Holders As an Engineer Associate, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting various project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization. **What's the Job?** + Accurately model transmission system topology including impedance and facility ratings for lines, generators, and transformers for Medium, High, and Extra High Voltages. + Fulfill various system modeling related requests from Engineering and Operations personnel submitted via ServiceNow ticketing system. + Collaborate with others internal/external to the team to model planned projects, build power flow, and short circuit model cases representing the future transmission system. + Participate in the planning and organization of project work activities. + Perform electrical transmission system analysis and protection system studies, as requested. **What's Needed?** + Preferred education and background in Electrical Engineering with a Bachelor's degree in an ABET accredited program. + Demonstrated experience modeling transmission and generation system topology using ASPEN OneLiner and/or Siemens PSSE. + Experience with NERC Compliance Standards and performing transmission system fault studies. + Ability to apply problem-solving skills to resolve technical problems and initiate solution techniques. + Minimum of 2 years of related engineering experience. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work on impactful projects in the energy sector. + Collaborative and inclusive work environment. + Professional development and growth opportunities. + Access to advanced engineering tools and technologies. + Be part of a team that values innovation and continuous improvement.
