As Chemical Process Engineer I, you will be responsible for:

Executing tactical assignments through performing chemical and processing analyses while working collaboratively in the overall engineering responsibilities of M&PE. Primary areas of responsibility are the evaluation, analysis, and control of all on-site chemical manufacturing processes.Providing M&PE technical participation in internal and global teamsPerforming complex engineering tasks as instructed, demonstrates engineering/scientific knowledge and logic, and communicates options to senior engineering staff to determine next steps.Providing M&PE support for long-term, multi-site projects under the guidance and direction of senior engineering staff. Propose and recommend process equipment solutions for operating groups

Minimum Requirement

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering

Experience:

With at least 3 years of working experience as a Chemical Engineer supporting wet chemical processes, with experience in Plating of Ferrous Alloys and Anodizing of Aluminum processing lineKnowledgeable on ISO9001, ISO14000, ISO17025, and OHSAS18000. Familiarity with AS9100, Boeing D1-4426 and NADCAP requirements will be an advantageGood knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, ion exchange and wastewater treatment, and effective problem solving of wet chemical processes, plating, anodizing, and corrosion issues

Demonstrates ability to interpret process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, and engineering blueprints. Knowledgeable in chemical, material and energy balances, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics. Familiar with unit operations such as heat exchange and reaction systems. Understands basic process safety concepts and adheres to standard operating procedures.6. Influencing - Combines interpersonal, technical and business skills to lead, educate and guide others7. Zero Defect Mindset – Exhibits attitude of doing it right the first time and creating a work environment where nearly right and good enough is not acceptable.8. Proficiency in computer-based applications
