Engineer, Senior Control (Kenedy, TX) - 000GEA Description Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is one of the largest publicly traded partnerships and a leading North American provider of midstream energy services to producers and consumers of natural gas, NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals. Our services include: natural gas gathering, treating, processing, transportation and storage; NGL transportation, fractionation, storage and import and export terminals; crude oil gathering, transportation, storage and terminals; petrochemical and refined products transportation, storage and terminals; and a marine transportation business that operates primarily on the United States inland and Intracoastal Waterway systems. The partnership’s assets include approximately 50,000 miles of pipelines; 260 million barrels of storage capacity for NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals; and 14 billion cubic feet of natural gas storage capacity. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: + Extensive knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLC and HMI platforms, process functionality, programming methods and configurations. Proven proficiency in maintaining existing controls systems, executing upgrade projects, ability to work independently and communicate effectively with stakeholders + Control system design/review/troubleshoot (P&IDs, wiring diagrams, control panels, network, loop tuning) + Generate & test code for PLC, HMI, & SCADA systems + Execute hardware & software FAT + Commissioning of panels, instrumentation and SCADA systems + Integration of various vendor systems + Troubleshoot issues in a live process Qualifications The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications: + A minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering. + A minimum of 7 years of experience on implementation of process control and related systems in Oil and Gas industry is required. Consideration will be given to candidates with at least 3 years of experience. + Working knowledge of industry standards for documentation, loop tuning, safety systems, and PLC configuration is required. + Experience with development of applications in FactoryTalk HMI and Allen Bradley PLCs is required. + Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization (operations and contractors), both verbally and in writing. + Ability to travel up to 10% domestically and be on call 24/7 (as needed) Primary Location : USA-Texas-Kenedy : Shift : Day Job Travel : Yes, 25 % of the Time Job Posting : Unposting Date : Ongoing Organization : Engineering Job : Engineering Job Level : Individual Contributor Req ID: 000GEA
