CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for an Eng. Multi-Discipline Technician III. Type: Contract Job Title: Eng. Multi-Discipline Technician III Location: Austin, TX Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Austin, TX Pay Rate: Based on experience Work Hours: M-F 8am-5pm Education: High School diploma minimum Overview: Join a long-standing Fortune 500 client to support fiber optic and multi-discipline testing. Set up equipment, perform measurements, conduct environmental and mechanical tests, analyze data, and document results while maintaining a safe, organized lab. Responsibilities: Set up and verify fiber optic testing systems Configure samples for environmental and mechanical testing Operate automated/manual test systems and environmental chambers Track testing progress and document results Perform basic data analysis and failure mode analysis Troubleshoot and maintain lab equipment Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace Required Skills & Experience: 1-2 years lab experience Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Hands-on technical skills with test/measurement equipment Good eyesight and manual dexterity for delicate components Team player with strong verbal/written communication Desired Attributes: Self-motivated “self-starter” Willingness to learn and adapt quickly Additional Information: No third-party resumes will be accepted Drug testing and/or other employment-related inquiries may be conducted CTG will consider applicants with criminal histories in accordance with applicable laws All candidates must be eligible to work on a W2 basis (no C2C or third-party vendors) CTG is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer and an E-Verify Company To Apply: Please apply directly through our website by clicking the link below or email your Word version resume and salary expectations to Jamie.Robinson@ctg.com.
