**Job Summary and Responsibilities** As an Endoscopy Tech, you will provide crucial technical support during endoscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety and efficiency. Every day you will meticulously prepare, maintain, and sterile process endoscopy equipment, assist physicians during procedures, and prepare rooms while maintaining accurate documentation. To be successful, you will demonstrate strong technical proficiency, meticulous attention to detail in sterile processing, and collaborative skills in a fast-paced clinical setting, contributing to positive patient outcomes. **Job Requirements** + Two (2) years experience as an Endoscopy Technician in an Endoscopy Department or equivalent health care related experience. + Prior experience working in the procedure rooms under the direction of the physician and registered nurse. + One (1) to three (3) years experience in training technologists and nurses in endoscopy procedures. + One (1) to three (3) demonstrated experience and knowledge in supplies and equipment used in endoscopy procedures. + One (1) to three (3) years prior experience in scheduling systems. + Basic Life Support from American Heart Association. **Where You'll Work** Dignity Health Mercy San Juan Medical Center is a 384-bed not-for-profit Level 2 Trauma Center located in Carmichael California.
