Endoscopy Technician **Southwest Health** 1 Positions ID: 84392 Posted On 11/19/2025 Refreshed On 01/20/2026 **Job Overview** **Requirements** + High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required with additional technical training in area of specialty. + Certified Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant preferred. + Previous experience in endoscopy or related clinical setting preferred/ Knowledge of on the job training. + Knowledge of hospital inventory and stocking procedures helpful. + Certification in Basic Life Support required. + Will complete Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) Certification within 2 years of hire. **Work Hours** We are seeking a full-time (36 hours/week) Endoscopy Technician to work 4-5 days per week (Monday- Friday) in our Surgery Department. Hours vary between 7am-5pm. **Job Summary** The Endoscopy Technician provides support in the endoscopy suite by preparing and maintaining equipment, assisting physicians and nurses during procedures, cleaning of scope/room post procedure, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
