Our client, a government organization dedicated to serving the community, is seeking an End User Support Technician to join their team. As an End User Support Technician, you will be part of the IT Support Department supporting county staff and external users. The ideal candidate will have problem-solving skills, patience, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title: End User Support Technician**
**Location: Appleton, WI (Onsite)**
**What's the Job?**
+ Assist all users (internal and external) with software, hardware, and network requests related to county systems.
+ Identify root causes of issues and implement effective solutions.
+ Maintain accurate documentation of issues, steps taken, and resolutions in the work order system.
+ Respond promptly to requests via phone, email, voicemail, and walk-ins, ensuring timely resolution.
+ Develop technical proficiency in County-supported systems such as Windows, Active Directory, Citrix, and Microsoft Office.
**What's Needed?**
+ 1-3 years of experience in IT support or related roles.
+ Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic networking issues.
+ Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple requests efficiently.
+ Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt quickly to changing standards.
+ Current Wisconsin residency and a valid driver’s license; no relocation support provided.
