Temp-to-Hire position$17.00 /hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 03:30pm)Facilitate individualized, person-centered job search planning.Help job seekers explore and evaluate vocational skills and employment options.Teach and support job search strategies (resume writing, networking, interviewing).Assist in identifying and addressing employment barriers.Contact employers to develop job opportunities for job seekers.Support workplace accommodations, training, and integration.Build and maintain positive relationships between job seekers and employers.Monitor job search efforts; prepare progress and service reports.Collaborate with families, case managers, and agencies (e.g., MRS). Provide information on benefits (SSI, Medicaid) and employment impact.Drive to client locations; meet employers to arrange job placements.Employment Specialist Qualifications:
Previous HR/clerical experience requiredStrong verbal and written communication skillsHigh school diploma or GED requiredProficiency in Microsoft Office. Valid driver’s license required.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
