As an Employee Benefits Consultant you will focus on delivering exceptional service and value to a portfolio of small and mid-corporate businesses.
This role emphasizes relationship building and collaboration with industry experts to provide innovative solutions.
The role will be based in Bucharest, it is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
We will count on you to:
Manage the administration of a small to mid-sized client portfolio, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of all client-related processes and documentation to maintain high service standards and client satisfaction.Conduct client meetings to thoroughly identify their needs and deliver compelling presentations that demonstrate value and expertise.Respond promptly and effectively to client requests regarding insurance policies, including renewals, modifications, and consultancy services.Collaborate closely with all Marsh-approved insurers to facilitate seamless insurance solutions.Oversee the administration and maintenance of existing insurance contracts, ensuring all documentation and processes are up to date.Build and nurture strong, long-lasting client relationships through continuous engagement and proactive communication.Drive the development of clients’ portfolios by conducting market research, providing technical support, and identifying growth opportunities.Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to design and deliver innovative portfolio or customized solutions that meet clients’ needs.Gain a deep understanding of clients’ businesses, industries, and risk profiles, translating this knowledge into practical, effective insurance strategies.Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging cross-selling techniques to achieve and exceed business targets.Manage day-to-day employee benefits placement activities, maintaining direct relationships with insurers and skillfully negotiating terms to secure the most competitive offers for clients.Stay well-informed about the evolving insurance market and industry trends, adapting strategies proactively to maintain competitive advantage.Manage client administration in accordance with Marsh’s standards and procedures, always ensuring accuracy and compliance.What you need to have:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate client service delivery within the Insurance sector (Insurance Companies, Brokerage) or the Medical Clinics area is required.Strong ability to independently interpret and analyze insurance policy wordings, with a solid understanding of technical terms, clauses, exclusions, and coverage implications is highly desirable.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Romanian and English.Advanced communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences effectively.A proactive and collaborative mindset, eager to work within a multinational network and a global company environment.Proven excellence in negotiation skills, with the ability to secure favorable terms and build strong partnerships.What makes you stand out?
