Job Description
Join an industry-leading fire, water, and mold restoration company as an Emergency Service Restoration Technician. This role involves performing restoration services, including cleaning and demolition, on properties damaged by water, fire, or mold. You will report to the local office and travel to job sites in the region, utilizing water damage and monitoring equipment, completing paperwork, and entering basic job/project information into computers. Interaction with end customers is also a key part of the role.
Responsibilities
Perform restoration services such as cleaning and demolition on damaged properties.Monitor sites using water damage and monitoring equipment.Complete and maintain accurate paperwork and enter job/project information into computer systems.Interact professionally with end customers.Travel to and from job sites using company vehicles.Load and unload equipment at the company facility.Essential Skills
Steady work history with no frequent job changes, especially in environments requiring manual labor such as construction, warehouse, or landscaping.Ability to work in an on-call/emergency response environment.Minimum of 1 year of experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor.Excellent communication skills and a neat appearance.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Responsible, professional, and a strong team player.Good driving record.Available for on-call projects.Ability to be on one's feet all day, excluding driving time.Capability to lift and carry weights ranging from 1-100 lbs regularly.Ability to handle dehumidifiers weighing over 50 lbs daily.Work Environment
Work in a national, non-franchised company with a focus on world-class customer service and quality restoration services. The team consists of approximately 12 members, including management and office staff. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM, with opportunities for additional work on weekends and on-call projects. Work occurs at various commercial project sites and at the company facility for loading/unloading equipment.

This is a full-time position based out of Wallingford, Connecticut.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
