EMEA Credit Default Swap Client Services Senior Associate

As an EMEA Credit Default Swap Client Services Senior Associate in the Credit Derivatives Middle Office team, you will provide essential trade lifecycle support to a wide range of clients, including asset managers, pension funds, banks, and hedge funds. You will work closely with front office sales teams and partner with colleagues across operations, technology, reference data, and external custodians to deliver seamless service. In this role, you will help us maintain the highest standards of accuracy and client service while driving continuous improvement and innovation.

Job responsibilities

Ensures operations are booked and allocated in a timely mannerSupports clients in their various queriesPerforms numerous control reconciliations to verify positions are accurate through front office to middle office reconciliations, middle office to back office reconciliationsInvestigates and provide solutions to various queries from settlements and confirmationsCompletes operations projects and ad hoc requests to satisfy new initiatives and operations/technology enhancements (new system implementations).

Strong logical/analytical mindset, with the ability to think outside the box and challenge the status quoProcess flow understanding, including ability to understand flows and linkage between systems and think how the process can be improved/streamlinedExcellent written and oral communication skillsExceptional attention to detail. Accuracy is critical to eliminate financial risk and maintain a strong client relationshipA flexible, proactive attitude towards work is required as individual must be responsive with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload, with a strong awareness of risk and control issuesAbility to work well under pressure and think creatively is essentialGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office applicationsProven ability to succeed as part of a teamFluent English is a must.


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Previous experience in Finance industry appreciatedKnowledge of other European languages is a plus.
