Our client, a leader in the Building Solutions space is seeking an Embedded Software Test Engineer to join their team. As an Embedded Software Test Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering team supporting. The ideal candidate will have self motivation, attention to detail, and strong analytical thinking which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Embedded Software Test Engineer
**Location:** New Freedom, PA
**Pay Range:** $47-48.90
**What’s the Job?**
+ Carefully execute test cases as identified in the test plans, accurately reporting and logging any defects encountered.
+ Develop and maintain comprehensive test artifacts, including test plans, procedures, reports, and both manual and automated scripts.
+ Create and manage detailed test schedules, monitoring progress and providing regular reports on test execution.
+ Ensure requirements traceability throughout the software development lifecycle.
+ Oversee defect management using Jira, coordinating resolution from identification to closure.
**What’s Needed?**
+ Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field.
+ Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in software testing; new graduates with strong interest in software testing should apply.
+ Ability to work on-site in New Freedom, PA.
+ Preferred experience in embedded software testing and familiarity with HP ALM.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail.
