ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop new embedded software using C and C++.Enhance and maintain existing embedded software architectures.Collaborate closely with hardware engineers on new target platforms.Troubleshoot hardware/software interface issues effectively.Develop applications for 8/16/32-bit embedded systems within defined standards and processes.Perform debugging using software debuggers and in-circuit emulators.Undertake additional duties as assigned.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.5+ years of experience in embedded software design and development.Proficiency in programming and debugging with embedded systems in C/C++.Experience with debugging tools and in-circuit microprocessor emulators.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to follow engineering processes and meet deadlines.Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Self-motivated and capable of working effectively in team environments.Experience with Firmware, RTOS, C programming, and Embedded Linux.Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wilmington, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $65.00/hr.
