Your Role and Responsibilities

As a participant in the Global Discovery Early Talent Program – Marketing and Sales Track, you will begin doing practical work from day one. The colleagues you work with, the challenging projects you engage in, and the global nature of our business will give you the foundation needed to build a world‑class career in this field.

You will be part of a 24-month rotational program designed to build your skills in inside sales, marketing, leadership, and ABB product knowledge. Your rotations will be within the Electrification business area, covering divisions such as Distribution Solutions, Smart Building, Smart Power, Service, and Installation Products.

You will also join the June orientation together with other Discovery Program participants. This global initiative is structured to support early‑career development, personal and professional growth, and extensive networking opportunities.

This role contributes to the Electrification Services business in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Penetrating the installed base (IB) by promoting upgrades, retrofits, and value‑added solutions that benefit both ABB and our customers.Understanding the channel strategy, supporting price establishment, preparing sales plans, reviewing progress, and proposing recovery plans when needed.Generating service sales leads and developing new market opportunities by using market trend information and identifying potential new service portfolios.Acting as a marketer and salesperson for ABB’s service products and solutions during marketing activities, including campaigns, trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, and customer meetings.

Qualifications for the Role:

Degree in Electrical (recent graduates from 2024 or 2025).Solid ability to understand market trends and product life cycles within the electrification business.A focused and self‑motivated marketer with both creative and analytical skills.Highly detail-oriented, with a commitment to improve business performance through campaign execution, workshops, reporting, and evaluation.Committed to generating new ideas, with demonstrated ability to innovate and continuously improve processes.Effective teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively to solve complex problems.Comfortable communicating in English.
