What You’ll DoInstall elevators, escalators, and mechanical walkways with accuracy and care.Respond quickly to mechanical failures and system malfunctions.Install and test electrical systems to ensure proper performance.Perform routine maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.Repair or replace system components as needed.Lubricate and maintain moving parts for smooth operation.Conduct thorough safety inspections to meet and exceed safety standards.Manage inventory and order necessary supplies.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.What You BringHigh school diploma or GED.Relevant mechanical certification.Proven experience as an elevator mechanic.Strong understanding of elevator systems, escalators, and mechanical walkways.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Skilled in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues.Willingness to travel and work after hours when needed.Ability to work independently and take initiative.Why You’ll Love Working Here

Work Environment

You’ll work in a mix of indoor and outdoor settings and travel to various job sites. The role is hands‑on and physically active, involving lifting, working with power tools, and navigating different types of equipment spaces. Flexibility is important, as some after‑hours work may be required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $46.15 - $46.15/hr.
