Electronics Test Technician

Job Title: Electronics Technician

Job Description

This position supports the testing, repair, and mechanical assembly of advanced RF electronic hardware used in high-performance radar systems. The technician will work hands-on with electronic assemblies, testing, and documentation throughout multiple stages of production and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing partners to meet quality and delivery goals.

Responsibilities

Assemble, test, rework, and repair RF electronic hardware and related components.Perform functional testing, tuning, and troubleshooting of printed circuit board assemblies and integrated electronic subsystems.Support final system builds and verification activities.Partner with manufacturing, test, and development engineering teams to resolve production and design-related issues.Accurately follow work instructions, test procedures, and rework documentation.Complete additional tasks as needed to support operational requirements.

Essential Skills

Hands-on experience assembling and testing sensitive electronic assemblies.Ability to follow detailed technical documentation and standardized processes.Experience using electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and power supplies.Knowledge of electrostatic discharge (ESD) handling procedures and materials.Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment on a regular basis, with occasional lifting up to approximately 50 lbs.Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and identify components.Experience with soldering and electronic rework.

Skills & Qualifications

Minimum of 2+ years of experience in an electronics manufacturing or lab test environment.Associate degree in a technical discipline or formal electronics training preferred (military)Familiarity with basic PCBA troubleshooting, rework, and repair techniques.IPC certification is a plus.Familiarity with RF electronics test equipment.

Work Environment

This role operates on a Monday through Friday schedule, with swing shift hours from 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm PT. The position offers a non-exempt status with the opportunity for overtime pay.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $76960.00/yr.

This is a non-exempt role. Overtime pay is 1.5x regular pay.
