Manpower Engineering is hiring an experienced **Electronics Engineering Technician** for a **contract-to-hire** opportunity with our client in **Munster, Indiana** . This is a **mid- to senior-level** role ideal for candidates with a strong background in electronics diagnostics and repair—especially those with military or industrial experience.
**🔍** **What You’ll Be Doing:**
+ Diagnose and repair a wide range of electronic devices, including:
+ AC/DC and Servo drives
+ Analog/digital I/O boards
+ Inverters and industrial control devices
+ Use SMT and thru-hole soldering techniques with equipment like Pace rework systems
+ Troubleshoot down to the component level on PCBs
+ Work with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and Huntron trackers

**✅** **What We’re Looking For:**
**2-year degree in Electronics Technology** preferred, or **7–10 years of hands-on experience** (military electronics experience highly valued) Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Proficiency in both **THT and SMT soldering/desoldering** Experience with test equipment and electronic repair tools. A hands-on mindset—tinkerers and hobbyists (e.g., auto repair, electronics) are a great fit.
