Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Electronics Technician I to join our team. You will play a crucial role in assembling and wiring electrical control panels, junction boxes, and subassemblies. The schedule is from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday or 2:30-11 Monday to Friday
ResponsibilitiesWire and build electrical control panels, junction boxes, and subassemblies according to customer requirements.Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, and work orders.Drill or tap holes to mount control units or provide openings for components, wiring, or instruments.Utilize small hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers.Complete point-to-point wiring and install a wide variety of electronic components including PLCs, relays, lights, and switches.Initiate Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) as necessary.Perform operations such as deburring, grinding, and sawing.Operate hand pallet jacks to move materials within the plant.Install finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets.Willingness to work overtime as needed.Essential SkillsAbility to read and write in English.Reliable transportation.Availability for overtime.Proficiency in working from blueprints/schematics.Experience with wiring of harnesses or components.Familiarity with various wire gauges, types, and sizes.Ability to operate hand tools.Experience with control panel building and wiring.Additional Skills & Qualifications2+ years of experience in control panel building, wiring, and reading schematics and electrical diagrams.Understanding of electrical currents.Mechanical installation and electrical wiring experience for control panels and desks.Experience using hand tools to drill, tap, and assemble electrical panels.Mechanical aptitude and ability to stand for long periods.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work involves frequent lifting of materials and products up to 30 pounds and long periods of standing. Frequent use of hand tools is required. The working conditions are typical for a manufacturing environment, and the operation of machinery requires safety equipment such as eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, safety shoes, and hardhats. Loose-fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted. Safety shoes are always required, and certifications such as lock out/tag out and fork truck certification may be necessary. Personal protective equipment is required for drilling, tapping, deburring, cutting, testing, lifting, and moving activities.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
