Electronics Technician I
**Job Title: Electronics Technician I** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Electronics Technician I to join our team. You will be responsible for wiring and building electrical control panels and subassemblies according to customer specifications. This position offers a full-time schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. **Responsibilities** + Wire and build electrical control panels, junction boxes, and subassemblies per customer requirements. + Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, and work orders. + Drill or tap holes for mounting control units or components. + Utilize various hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers. + Complete point-to-point wiring and install electronic components including PLCs, relays, lights, and switches. + Perform deburring, grinding, and sawing operations. + Operate hand pallet jacks to move materials within the plant. + Install finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases and cabinets. + Willingness to work overtime as needed. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in reading and writing English. + Reliable transportation. + Ability to work from blueprints and schematics. + Experience with wiring harnesses or components. + Familiarity with various wire gauges, types, and sizes. + Ability to operate hand tools. + Experience with control panel building and wiring. + Ability to lift up to 30 pounds. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 2+ years’ experience in control panel building, wiring, reading schematics, and electrical diagrams. + Understanding of electrical currents. + Mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently and in a team environment. + Experience using hand tools for drilling, tapping, and assembling electrical panels. **Why Work Here?** Join a growing company with opportunities to expand into 2nd and 3rd shifts. The manufacturing environment requires the use of safety equipment such as eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, safety shoes, and hardhats. Loose-fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted. Safety shoes must be worn at all times. Certifications like lock out/tag out and fork truck certification may be required. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin, Massachusetts. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
