Description
Work on a team in the production and manufacturing of complex electronics boards for spaceflight/ NASA applications. These are complex, custom electronics boards of low volume.Validate all work for compliance to drawing specifications and applicable space/NASA quality standards.Perform assembly operations of similar scope and complexity on subassemblies and complete units to established procedures and quality standards.Work independently with minimal guidance from higher classified personnel or from detailed drawing information and to applicable quality standards.Some harness build work performed but a minimal amount. Focus of experience needs to be in PWA (Printed Wiring Assembly), PWB (Printed Wiring Board) and PCB (Printed Circuit Board)Manufacturing work is performed under a microscope 80-90% of the time.Additional Skills & Qualifications
HS Diploma and at least 10-20 yrs of relevant experience.At least 10 yrs of experience in space hardware. Previous experience with spaceflight is required and/or experience with space EGSE is also desired. Current certification to J-STD-001 for soldering and current space addendum. Certification to NASA 8739.1 - Polymerics would be a plus or Polymerics knowledge.Experience with conformal coating and applying coats.Experience with lead forming for boards.Experience with Cable/ harness and wiringAbility to work independently. Ability to work under a microscope 80-90% of the time.Experience Level

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
