This role involves prototyping engineering designs, working closely with engineers in an engineering environment. The technician will conduct various tests daily, including weather and pressure testing. Collaborating with engineers on prototyping units and engaging in technical simulations is a key aspect of this position.
ResponsibilitiesPerform the set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.Determine and develop test specifications, methods, and procedures from various blueprints, drawings, and diagrams.Test and troubleshoot assemblies and/or final systems.Complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing.Assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.Essential SkillsTechnician experience.Experience in a digital environment working closely with engineers.Good communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School or Equivalent required.2-3 years of experience in related field.Technical/Trade School preferred.Ability to handle multiple opportunities and meet strict deadlines.Work EnvironmentThe position is 100% onsite in Newtown, PA in an engineering lab equipped with electro-static flooring and pressure testing equipment to simulate space conditions. Lab attire is required, and the shift runs from 7AM to 3:30PM.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
