Electronics Technician
**Job Title: RF Testing Technician - 2nd Shift** Job Description Join our team as an RF Testing Technician for the 2nd shift, where you will utilize state-of-the-art equipment in a brand-new facility to perform critical testing on RF emissions from power sources. This role requires setting up testing requirements per customer order, recording data, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. Responsibilities + Set up testing requirements according to customer orders and specifications. + Conduct tests on RF emissions from various power sources including ESD test stations, automotive pulses, and wireless networks. + Test GPS and communications, reverberation, radiated immunity, and mobile phone immunity. + Utilize the 3-meter chamber for testing passenger car interfaces and the 1-meter chamber for ethernet and router setups. + Perform complex environmental element testing in a metal chamber, analyzing energy duplication and absorption. Essential Skills + 1-3 years of RF testing or schooling experience, or equivalent military communications/electronics experience. + Proficiency in schematic reading. + 1-3 years of electronics/EMC testing experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Military Electronics/Communications major is preferred. + 5+ years of RF experience is advantageous. + 5+ years of EMC experience is a plus. Why Work Here? Work Environment The role is based in a brand-new facility with cutting-edge test equipment. The 2nd shift operates from 2 PM to 10 PM, Monday to Friday. The facility is climate-controlled, ensuring a comfortable working environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn Hills, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
